The theme:

  1. New beginning

  2. Sunset

Project duration: 12 hours

I remember struggling to find a name for this Template. The color combo is pretty unique and I’ve rarely seen it on a flower website before. It was a challenge to apply the 60-30-10 rule in design.

Pages:

  • Homepage

  • Services page (New Orleans Floral Designer)

  • About

  • Blog

  • Contact

  • ++ newsletter included

  • ++ blog integrated

What I liked the most:

-The animations give so much personality to this Template. I usually choose 1 type of animation and use it on all pages but this time, I felt compelled to mix things a bit.

-How well the orange merges with this shade of purple! I find this combo to be quite interesting.

You may not know it but I asked the florists in my audience to complete a survey when I decided to launch my templates store. Many of them suggested to add a blog and a newsletter and that’s why I added those features on this site.

Three words to describe my experience while building this Template: discovery, adaptability and

boldness.

  1. I always tend to follow a certain pattern when I’m building websites and somehow I found myself trying new things with this one. e.g. the animations, the palette in itself

  2. Because of the palette, I had to be extremely picky about the pictures. Not too orange, not too purple, a bit of red and brown accent here and there, switching between portrait and landscape mode, etc

  3. I’m so used to play with colors that we easily see in nature. Working with this combo was definitely a bold move.

Should you consider choosing this Template for your flower business?

This Theme centers arounds the main services, in this case: a floral designer located in New Orleans selling custom arrangements and flower subscriptions. If you want a single page describing your services then definitely go for this one.

Sometimes it’s better to highlight your offers this way. By regrouping everything in one place, you won’t have to rank many pages on Google. It doesn’t mean that the other pages don’t matter though.

Choose this Template if you have a logo with bold and very distinct colors. I made sure to use the right colors for the right elements all over the website. You won’t have to wonder where to use what.

Go for it if you like the animations. They are just so cute! Not everyone likes the classic style that can easily look boring. I’ve designed this Template for a spirited, creative and lively florist who’s a go-getter and loves being unique.

The bonus: grow your email subscribers list straight away and start writing your first 3 blog posts.

The customisation options:

  • The colors

  • The fonts

  • The ombre effect in certain images (I’ll teach you how to do it)
